Gary and Sharon Cooper, in their role as Salvation Army Officers/Pastors, are both passionate about the Word of God and applying its truth to everyday life and ministry. Their appointments have taken them from the rocky eastern shores of Newfoundland, Canada to the sun baked sandy shores of Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia. “Every country has its beauty and certainly our God is a God of unlimited creativity,” Sharon shares. “To see Him at work everywhere we’ve been is a blessing beyond description!”
Most of their years of ministry have been in Ontario where they found themselves involved not only in corps but in youth ministries as well.
Gary and Sharon have a son and a daughter who are both married.
“These are challenging days where humanity’s greatest need is still the same – to know Jesus and the power of His life lived out in ours,” says Gary.
We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
